Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant with experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. This role involves managing administrative tasks in a healthcare setting, ensuring accurate patient records, and supporting the medical team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain patient records using EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Perform clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
• Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks and documentation
• Ensure proper filing and retrieval of electronic medical records
• Handle patient inquiries and provide support for appointment scheduling and follow-ups
• Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of all patient information
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies
• Provide administrative support for office management tasks as needed
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare management software
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Experience with billing and coding in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
