Position Overview
This position is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and logistical support for statewide field operations and the Anchorage office. The Administrative Assistant will help coordinate schedules, communications, travel, office organization, materials distribution, and general day-to-day operations in a fast-paced campaign environment while directly supporting the Chief Operations Officer with administrative and operational tasks.
Position Type: Full Time
Compensation: $30/HR,Benefits may include paid holidays, year-end bonuses, opportunity to contribute to an IRA, and a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).
Time Frame: May 18th, 2026 – November 15, 2026
Hours:40 hours/week, with occasional evening or weekend availability as needed.

Regular Duties
Manage calendars, scheduling, and internal coordination
Assist the Chief Operations Officer with administrative tasks, project tracking, and day-to-day operational support
Book, track, and manage travel arrangements for staff and field teams
Assist with event planning and logistical coordination
Organize and track yard sign distribution and campaign materials
Coordinate shipping of materials to remote offices and canvassers
Maintain organized office and storage spaces
Assist with data entry, inventory tracking, and supply management
Support setup and maintenance of remote field offices as needed
Answer phones, emails, and general office inquiries
Participate in weekly operations and mobilization check-ins
Support special projects and visibility campaigns as assigned
Ideal Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience supporting office operations, logistics, or administrative work
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Familiarity with rural Alaska logistics is a plus
Proficiency with Google Workspace and basic office technology
Clean driving record preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move campaign materials and boxes up to 40 pounds
Ability to travel locally as needed
