AIM is currently seeking an Administrative Agent – Scale and Transportation for its Matane site, for a temporary 1-year position. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. You will support the team in administrative activities, planning, transportation, and customer service.
What you will be responsible for :
• Oversee the opening and closing of daily operations, including cash handling and report preparation;
• Welcome customers, provide pricing information, and deliver excellent customer service (in person and over the phone);
• Weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles, enter data into RECY, and generate scale tickets and delivery slips;
• Coordinate transportation activities, including truck dispatching and shipment tracking;
• Manage operational documentation (scale tickets, invoices, shipments) and follow up with accounting;
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date information in internal systems;
• Monitor customer accounts, track payments, and respond to inquiries;
• Perform various administrative tasks and contribute to improving work processes.

• You are comfortable with customer service;
• You are organized and able to manage priorities effectively;
• You are reliable and able to work independently;
• You are comfortable communicating in both French and English;
• You enjoy working as part of a team;
• You have previous administrative experience (an asset).
