Responsabilités

Assurer la gestion des contrats de construction (contrats principaux et contrats de sous-traitance) afin de s'assurer du respect des délais et des obligations qui en découlent

Assurer la coordination et l'émission des avenants au contrat

Assurer la coordination avec l’équipe des affaires juridiques

Contribuer activement à l'évaluation et à la mise en œuvre des améliorations des processus de gestion des contrats 

Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le directeur de projet dans la gestion des différents contrats en place 

Assurer le suivi des correspondances officielles des contrats pour s'assurer qu'elles sont conformes aux termes des contrats et, plus généralement, aux obligations du projet 

Préparer et fournir les communications et avis contractuels (lettres, avis, courriels, notes de service) et examiner les correspondances reçues pour assurer le suivi nécessaire

Recommander, mettre en œuvre et documenter des actions pour demander une compensation ou des demandes de prolongation de délai, lorsque requis

Contribuer à l'élaboration de stratégies de négociation spécifiques à chaque dossier et participer aux négociations 

Effectuer toutes les autres tâches liées à la fonction

Qualifications 

Baccalauréat en ingénierie (Diplôme en administration des affaires sera considéré un atout)

Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en gestion de contrats de construction (expérience en contrat de gérance de construction (CCDC5B) un atout)

Expérience en ingénierie et/ou grands projets immobiliers (résidentiel, industriel, commercial ou institutionnel)

Solides compétences et expérience dans la rédaction, la révision et la négociation de contrats commerciaux

Capacité à travailler sous pression et à gérer un grand volume de demandes

Capacité à travailler en équipe

Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, afin de communiquer efficacement avec nos collègues et clients à l’extérieur du Québec

Autonomie et proactivité

Rigoureux, méticuleux, précis dans l'exécution des tâches

Excellentes compétences analytiques

Traite les informations confidentielles avec discrétion;

Attitude positive et approche axée sur les solutions

Excellentes compétences informatiques, MS Power Point, MS Word et Excel

Senior Contract Administrator

Responsibilities

Manage construction contracts (major and subcontractors) to ensure compliance with deadlines and obligations

Ensure the coordination and issuance of contract amendments

Coordinate with the legal affairs team

Actively contribute to the evaluation and implementation of improvements to the contract management processes

Work closely with the Project Director in the management of the various contracts in place

Follow up on official contract correspondence to ensure compliance with contract terms and overall project obligations

Prepare and provide contract communications and notices (letters, notices, emails, memos) and review incoming correspondence for necessary follow-up

Recommend, implement, and document actions to seek compensation or requests for time extensions, if required

Contribute to the development of case-specific negotiation strategies and participate in negotiations

Perform all other duties as required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Business Administration degree will be considered an asset)

More than 5 years of experience in construction contract administration (experience in construction management contract (CCD5B) an asset)

Experience in engineering and/or large real estate projects (residential, industrial, commercial, institutional)

Strong skills and experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts

Ability to work under pressure and manage a large volume of requests

Ability to work in a team environment

Excellent communication skills in English and French (oral and written) in order to communicate with our colleagues and clients outside of Québec

Autonomy and proactivity

Rigorous, meticulous, precise in the execution of tasks

Excellent analytical skills

Treats confidential information with discretion

Positive attitude and solution-oriented approach.

Excellent computer skills, MS Power Point, MS Word, and Excel.
