Job Description
With a recent influx of exciting new projects, Primus Build is looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment supporting a variety of residential renovations, commercial works, and insurance repair projects.
Job Description:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date files for all active projects
Assist in the preparation of reports, quotes, and drawings
Ensure all required documentation and approvals are obtained and submitted
Follow up with Loss Adjusters and Insurers regarding project status, scope changes, and inspections
Coordinate and schedule site inspections in line with project timelines
Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, Loss Adjusters, Insurers, and clients
Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails professionally
Perform invoicing, receipting, and general bookkeeping tasks
Scan, file, and organise documentation
Conduct data entry into company systems and maintain internal registers
Order and manage office supplies as needed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Full-time work eligibility in Australia
Immediate availability to start work
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or office support role (construction industry experience preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
Honest, reliable, and committed to supporting the team’s success
Valid driver’s license (preferred but not essential)
