Ce poste est centré sur le soutien administratif et opérationnel aux souscripteurs.

Dans ce rôle, tu relèveras du Chef d’équipe - support aux opérations, et tu développeras une base solide en pratiques de souscription tout en contribuant à l’efficacité de l’équipe.

Responsabilités principales

Préparer les documents d’assurance standards à l’aide de modèles et des directives des souscripteurs.

Saisir et mettre à jour les données dans Guidewire ou d’autres systèmes.

Organiser et maintenir les dossiers numériques de souscription.

Répondre aux demandes courantes des courtiers et escalader les dossiers plus complexes.

Aider à recueillir les informations de souscription pour les soumissions.

Soutenir les efforts de conformité en assurant l’exactitude de la documentation.

Profil

Minimum 1 an d'expérience dans le domaine de l'assurance

Compétences de base à intermédiaires dans Microsoft Word, Excel et Outlook

Bilinguisme (anglais/français) pour soutenir les souscripteurs et courtiers partout au Canada, à l’oral et à l’écrit

Souci du détail et excellentes compétences organisationnelles

Capacité à gérer plusieurs demandes et à bien prioriser

Adaptabilité et proactivité

Autonomie et sens des responsabilités

If you want to actively contribute to the transformation of the commercial insurance sector within a fast-growing company, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Underwriting Assistant. This position focuses on providing administrative and operational support to underwriters. 

In this role, you will report to the Team Leader - Underwriting Support, you will gain a solid foundation in underwriting practices while contributing to the team’s efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

Prepare standard insurance documents using templates and underwriter guidelines.

Enter and update data in Guidewire or other systems.

Organize and maintain digital underwriting files.

Respond to routine broker inquiries and escalate more complex cases.

Assist in gathering underwriting information for submissions.

Support compliance efforts by ensuring accurate documentation.

Profile

Minimum 1 year experience in insurance

Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Bilingual (English/French) to support underwriters and brokers across Canada, orally and in writing

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively

Adaptable and proactive

Autonomous with a strong sense of responsibility
