Job Description:
Quadrus Corporation is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Intern to support manufacturing operations at our Advanced Manufacturing facility in Huntsville, AL. In this entry-level supportive role, candidate will assist with all aspects of AM machine operation including prepping machines, maintaining cleanliness, performing and recording preventive maintenance as scheduled, establishing effective AM post-processing methods, and inventorying consumables and post-processing hardware. Candidate will support additive finishing operations such as powder and support removal, cleaning, and part handling, as well as safely handle metal powder before and after builds (including sieving, loading, and de-powdering) and utilize precision measurement tools (micrometer, caliper, surface plate, etc.) to ensure high-quality post-print and post-processing inspections.

Required Education:
Must be currently enrolled as a student in a 2- or 4-year college or university, seeking a degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
Technical Requirements:
Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or testing environment
Proficiency with hand, power, and pneumatic tools (drills, chisels, taps, etc.)
Proficiency with precision inspection methods and tools (surface plate, calipers, micrometers, height gauge)
Ability to utilize precision measurement tools (micrometer, caliper, surface plate, etc.) for post-print and post-processing inspection
Willingness and ability to safely handle metal powders, including sieving, loading, and part de-powdering
Other Requirements:
Reside in HubZone is a plus
Minimum of 10 hours and maximum of 40 hours a week
Must be a US Citizen
