• Key tasks of the team: 
• Create functional system designs representing the solution concepts of system requirements (general, functional, safety, security, etc.), including the evaluation and documentation of design alternatives 
• Create the system architecture implementing the system requirements, including the identification of system elements, determination of interfaces and connection of system elements 
• Specify the system elements and break down to top-level domain-specific architectural elements in close collaboration with domain architects (HW, SW, Safety, Security, Validation, etc.) 
• Create the Hardware-Software-Interface (HSI), describe its system aspects and lead the content creation of HW and SW aspects 
• Review and approve system designs and architecture 
• Document and communicate decisions according to system designs and architecture to the responsible engineers 
• Allocate the customer requirements to the responsible domains in the acquisition phase 
• Key tasks of the role: 
• Technical Lead for team tasks 
• Technical Lead for key technical issues, internal collaboration with other teams 
• Technical Lead for conformity topics, incl. tracking regulations & consumer tests, and system solution definition 
• Competence Management and resource planning 
• Optimization of efficiency and effectivity of workflow, e.g. by selection of tools or definition of process 
• More than 5 years experience in:  
• leading teams bigger than 10 HC 
• Designing and releasing ADAS features for series production 
• Evaluate architectures and technology options. Define product roadmap for COEM incl. competitor overview. Build up system modelling tool chain to optimize HW/SW co-design. 
• Good System knowledge and understanding for typical Driver Assistance Systems 
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
