🚀 Role: Acting Content Lead (maternity cover)
📍 Location: Rotterdam
⏱️ Duration: 6 months contract, starting mid-May
During the absence of the Content Lead, the Acting Content Lead ensures continuity, coordination, and quality across all content initiatives. The role focuses on keeping key projects moving, supporting the content team, and maintaining alignment with marketing and business priorities.
Success in this role requires proactivity, ownership, and reliability to ensure content operations run smoothly and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
• Content Coordination
• Ensure ongoing content initiatives continue moving forward.
• Manage the content calendar and active projects
• Coordinate with marketing, product, and demand generation teams on content needs
• Ensure content supports campaigns, product initiatives, and marketing priorities
2. Content Quality & Review
• Maintain the quality and consistency of published content.
• Review and approve English-language content where required
• Ensure content aligns with brand messaging, tone of voice, and editorial standards
• Provide editorial feedback and guidance when needed
3. SEO & Content Alignment
• Ensure content initiatives remain aligned with SEO priorities.
• Collaborate with the SEO manager on ongoing initiatives
• Support optimisation across blogs, landing pages, and product pages
• Ensure content aligns with keyword strategy and organic growth priorities
4. Team Coordination & Support
• Provide clarity and direction to the content team.
• Help prioritise tasks and requests
• Support the German writer and Demand Generation Specialist
• Ensure clarity around deliverables, priorities, and deadlines
5. Project & Brief Management
• Keep content work structured and on track.
• Manage incoming content requests
• Ensure briefs clearly define objectives, messaging, deliverables, and timelines
• Coordinate stakeholders to keep projects progressing efficiently
