The Echo Group is a creative and service led organisation leading the industry of luxury retail display, digital content creation and experiential site delivery.
The Acrylic Fabricator – Luxury Retail is responsible for producing high-end acrylic and plastic components for premium cosmetics, fashion, and luxury retail environments. The role demands exceptional attention to detail, flawless finishing, and an understanding of brand-led design, delivering components suitable for customer-facing, design-critical installations.
The nature of our industry is that working ad hoc additional hours, or out of normal working hours, can be expected as a normal function of this role. Paid overtime, or time in lieu, is not provided for this. The leadership team of Echo House remain committed to limiting the extent and potential impact of this, for all individuals at Echo.

Key Responsibilities
Premium Fabrication & Finishing
Manufacture bespoke acrylic components to exacting standards for luxury retail displays, POS units, counters, plinths, shelving, and vitrines.
Work confidently with materials including acrylic (Perspex), PETG, polycarbonate, frosted, tinted, mirrored, and speciality finishes, Polyurethane board andf MDF.
Carry out processes such as CNC routing, saw cutting, line bending, Vacuum forming, bonding, polishing, Lasering machining and fine hand finishing.
Ensure flawless edges, surfaces, and joints appropriate for close‑up, customer-facing presentation.
Brand & Quality Focus
Work strictly to technical drawings, CAD data, visuals, samples, and brand guidelines.
Maintain absolute consistency across repeat units and rollouts for multi-site luxury brands.
Identify any risk to finish, tolerance, colour, or visual quality and raise proactively.
Handle finished components with care to avoid marking, scratching, or contamination.
Collaboration & Project Delivery
Work closely with designers, project managers, and other fabrication disciplines (joinery, metal, specialist finishes, graphics, lighting).
Support tight deadlines driven by product launches, store openings, and brand campaigns.
Assist with careful packing, protection, and occasional on-site installation or snagging where required.
Workshop & Professional Standards
Maintain an immaculate, organised work area aligned with premium production standards.
Operate machinery and tools safely and precisely, following all H&S procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement in fabrication methods and finish quality.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven experience fabricating acrylics within luxury retail, cosmetics, fashion, exhibition, or high-end display environments.
Exceptional hand-finishing skills with a strong visual eye for detail.
Experience working to tight tolerances and cosmetic-quality expectations.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, visuals, and prototypes accurately.
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and how light interacts with acrylic.
Desirable
CNC router experience (3‑axis).
Laser machine experience
Experience with mixed-material builds (acrylic combined with timber veneers, metals, stone, lighting).
Knowledge of protective handling, packaging, and site readiness for premium installs.
Previous work on brand rollouts or flagship stores.
