Accounts/Treasury Assistant

Our globally recognised client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Accounts/Treasury Assistant to join their expanding team. This is a varied and active role where you'll be part of busy accounts department, you will need be proactive and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, you'll be working within a fast paced environment with live daily accounting.

As part of this role you'll take responsibility for daily posting and reconciliation of cash books to bank accounts and allocation of cash to corresponding purchase/sales ledger items. You'll also be assisting in arranging bank payments both on line and manually for both services and goods, as well as maintaining the daily update of loan books and corresponding reconciliation. You will also assist the accountant with the management accounts and maintaining the fixed asset register, as well as the balance sheet reconciliations and daily reporting.

This is a fantastic opportunity and would suit someone who is AAT qualified and has experience using various accounting software, such as : SQL/database (sap / sun / oracle) . You should be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. You will need to have strong Excel skills and be familiar with other Microsoft office programmes, such as Word and Outlook.
