Accounts Receivable Specialist - Hybrid Guadalajara

At MezTal, we are currently partnering with a US-based manufacturing company and we’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to work with a high-volume operation in the US, collaborating closely with accounting and sales teams while strengthening your experience in AR processes.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and supporting the financial cycle of the business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Processing and recording accounts receivable transactions
• Managing cash receipts, checks, and ACH payments
• Tracking cash on hand and undeposited funds
• Supporting customer account reconciliations alongside the sales team
• Assisting with month-end close activities and reporting
• Supporting accountants with reconciliations, tax reporting (1099s), and financial data
• Preparing and supporting sales and financial metrics
• Collaborating with internal teams and communicating with US stakeholders

Requirements:
What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting
• Experience working in high-volume environments (manufacturing is a plus)
• Experience handling cash, checks, or similar transactions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Good organizational and analytical skills

Technical Requirements

• Experience with Excel / Microsoft Office
• ERP experience (Dynamics 365 is a plus)
• Familiarity with Google tools is a plus

Language

• Advanced English is required (you will be working directly with US teams)

Work Model

• Hybrid role based in Guadalajara (MezTal offices – Midtown)
• Monday to Friday schedule aligned with US operations
