About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our high performing Group Finance Team. The Accounts Receivable Officer is a key member of the transactional Finance team, assisting in the day-to-day processing of operational transactions and investigating variances.
Requirements:
What does a day in the life look like?
As our Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll:
• Manage TEG Accounts Receivable ledgers across multiple entities
• Reconcile bank transactions with internal reports
• Process and match deposits in the accounting system
• Investigate discrepancies and outstanding balances
• Maintain debtor levels within KPIs
• Generate accurate ad hoc invoices
• Resolve internal and external AR queries
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Assist with month-end close and journals
• Support stakeholder relationships
• Collaborate with the finance team to meet targets
About you
• You bring hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations
• You're a clear communicator who can solve problems with confidence
• Detail-focused with a sharp eye for accuracy
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and thrive in a team environment
• Solid PC and Excel skills
• Experience in large AR teams
• Familiarity with TechnologyOne (Tech1)
