About the Role: Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a critical role in the Shared Service framework, focusing on accurate billing and maintaining financial compliance. This position is full time for a definite period of 6 months.

• Accurate Billing and Financial Closure:
• Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure precise and timely monthly billing for all revenue streams, including recurring services, consulting hours, and project milestones.
• Support the finance team during the month-end close by preparing Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports and reconciling sub-ledgers.

• Client and Dispute Resolution:
• Manage and resolve billing discrepancies or client inquiries related to service contracts and fee structures.
• Assist in the global client onboarding process by verifying tax documentation and accurately setting up profiles in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).

• Compliance and Process Efficiency:
• Maintain well-organized digital documentation to ensure all financial transactions comply with Internal Controls (SOX) and global tax regulations (VAT/GST).
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate manual billing workflows within the Shared Service department to enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements:
• Academic Background in Finance / Economics or related field
• Excel Knowledge: use formulas to expedite work and using pivot tables to present data
• A good command of English (written and spoken),
• Fluency in Italian is mandatory
• A proactive and curious person who is open to learn and also share knowledge with others
• This position is full time definite contract of 6 months.
