With thirteen dealerships and a growing footprint, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our accounting team as a Lead Accounts Payable Clerk. The Lead Accounts Payable Clerk will oversee daily accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all locations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Mon - Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and support Accounts Payable staff in a centralized accounting office
• Maintain an accurate accounts payable schedule. Post and process all approved vendor invoices for payment
• Verify all invoices are posted to proper general ledger accounts
• Maintain vendor files including all tax, 1099 and insurance documentation
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting
• Train and mentor AP team members to improve efficiency and performance
• Collaborate with dealership managers and corporate accounting team.

• AR /  AP experience in automotive retail preferred
• Previous leadership and supervisory experience in automotive accounting preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes
• CDK experience preferred
• Self-motivated and able to effectively prioritize tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Able to pass pre-employment background check
