Accounts Payable Staff Accountant

Brief overview of position

GreenChem Industries is seeking an organized, efficient, and reliable Accounts Payable (A/P) Staff Accountant with an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. The A/P Staff Accountant is expected to handle communications with vendors and internal departments. Additional duties include NetSuite record maintenance, A/P processing and reports, and providing overall accounting support. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, professional, courteous with strong computer skills with an understanding of accounting and financial principles.

Detailed list of duties including but not limited to:

• Gather, Review & Post Vendor Bills/Credits in timely manner and ensure proper billing classifications and obtain approvals
• Track and record credit card transactions
• Resolve & Answer Vendor A/P inquiries
• Complete new vendor credit application requests
• Arrange & Post A/P payments and entries as needed
• Create & Maintain Vendor records and actively record any changes

List of previous qualifying duties
• College degree Required
• Experience Preferred
• Good understanding of Accounting Procedures and principles
• Computer Literacy, Proficient with Office Applications (Word/Excel), Windows
• High level of accuracy and efficiency
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• NetSuite Experience is a plus
