Terresis is seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our Minneapolis team. This hybrid role is designed for an ERP-savvy professional who thrives in a self-directed environment. You will be responsible for the full-cycle support of our financial transactions, ensuring that both incoming and outgoing payments are handled with precision and efficiency.
We offer a flexible schedule of 25–30 hours per week, allowing you to balance professional impact with personal commitments.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Operations
Accounts Payable: Manage the end-to-end AP process, including accurate data entry into SAP, verification of internal approvals, and the execution of weekly ACH and wire payments.
Accounts Receivable: Oversee check deposits and monitor incoming payments to ensure accurate accounts receivable records.
Expenditure Auditing: Review and process employee expense and mileage reports, ensuring all submissions adhere to company policy and budgetary guidelines.
Compliance & Reporting
Regulatory Documentation: Coordinate and file essential tonnage reports and manage the timely renewal of business licenses.
Process Management: Maintain organized digital records and support period-end closing activities as needed.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Professional Background: 2+ years of dedicated experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting.
Technical Proficiency: Prior experience working within an ERP system is required; specific experience with SAP is highly preferred.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
Education & Skills:
Education: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.
Precision: Exceptional accuracy and a "sharp eye" for detail.
Self-Management: Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet weekly deadlines.
