We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll handle daily processing, maintenance, and control of accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, credit memos, statements and credit card transactions.

What You’ll Do
Accurate and timely entry of transactions into accounting software.
Works with department managers to ensure transactions have a valid business purpose, coding, and approval.
Review employee expense statements for accuracy and compliance with company guidelines.
Ensures disbursements are made timely.
Reconciles vendor statements.
Reconciles and codes weekly credit card transactions.
Maintains prepaid schedule.
Responsible for the preparation of annual 1099s.
Performs other duties as required.
Essential Skills and Experience
High School Diploma (or GED/High School Equivalence Certificate); Three (3) years of clerical experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of accounting principles, systems, and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey information effectively and provide others with a clear understanding of information.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop systems and processes.
Ability to work independently or as a team on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Use keyboard, mouse, 10-key calculator, and other office equipment with proficiency.
