Key Responsibilities:

- Process and verify invoices and purchase orders 

- Ensure timely payment of suppliers and vendors 

- Maintain accurate records of transactions and payments 

- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies 

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures 

- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding payment inquiries 

- Support in maintaining the accounts payable ledger

Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role 

- Excellent numerical and organizational skills 

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

- Proficiency in accounting software (Business Central would be advantageous) 

- Good communication skills 

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Qualifications: 

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance is preferred 

- Previous experience in the wine industry or agricultural sector is a plus
