Orla is advancing permitting and development on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. This project is part of our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We also operate the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, located in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico. This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources. Orla also operates the Musselwhite Mine located in Northern Ontario, a gold mine with more than 25 years of operating history and the potential to expand resources and mine life for years to come.

As Orla continues to grow, we are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team. The purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely execution of banking and payment processes in support of the South Carlin Complex. In this position, you will play a key role in daily operations by managing invoice processing and vendor payments, while contributing to the overall financial integrity and effectiveness of the operation.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable including obtaining approvals and invoice coding and resolving issues with vendors.
Scan and file invoices.
Request and reconcile vendor statement.
Process new vendors including requesting proper documentation and entry in ERP systems.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities including support on accruals for unbilled or late invoices.
Process payments in the form of checks, wire transfers, and EFTs.
Administer inbound and outbound mail and shipping.
Ensure adequate office supplies and office equipment maintenance.
Assist in management of building security, such as the assignment of keys and alarm codes.
Coordinate light vehicle fleet planned maintenance and vehicle repairs.
Support safety, environmental and human resources functions, including filing and organizing meetings.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting or finance is an asset.
Five or more years of finance and accounting experience.
Two years of experience in a finance clerk or similar role.
Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes.
Payroll experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level or higher), particularly Excel.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting systems (intermediate level or higher).
Ability to interact professionally, courteously, and confidentially with staff and external organizations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
