To support this mission, Syngenta’s Finance Operations team is seeking a Accounting to Reporting Senior Analyst (fixed term contract for 7 months) in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Accountabilities 
• Provide accurate, timely and proper substantiation of financial reporting monthly submissions in line with the Syngenta Financial Reporting requirements.
• Ensure properly recording cost of newly added fixed assets and Fixed Asset (FA) depreciation, as well as accounting for impairments/disposal.
• Prepare relevant adjustments related to Fixed Asset (FA) accounts ensuring timely and accurate recording of all Fixed Asset (FA) transactions.
• Open Project Review of project completion and capitalization - analyze and monitor Asset under construction (AUC) account.
• Bank transactions analysis and ensure proper accounting, in collaboration with other Finance Operations areas.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all business transactions in ERP system according to the IFRS rules for group reporting and local GAAP rules for statutory reporting (local ERP only).
• Work together with GFO (Accounting to Report partners in India) to ensure data quality and output are reliable.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency in relevant processes.
• Give high quality of support to fixed assets management.
• Contribute to a high level of financial compliance.
• Support internal /external audits and ensure timely remediation of outstanding audit issues.
Required  
• Graduate accountant or management bachelor. (mandatory)
• Working experience 2-3 years in accounting, experience in Fixed Asset/Banking. (desirable)
• Intermediate level of English. (mandatory)
• Experience with ERP (SAP highly valuable).
• Intermediate Excel knowledge. (mandatory)
• Analytic skills, dynamic, team working, organized and attentive to deadlines.
• Process improvement and efficiency mentality.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS.
