Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Accounting Section Head to join our dynamic team.
The Accounting Section Head will oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. The role is responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounting systems, and ensuring alignment with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations.
key Responsibilities:
• Oversee accounts for receivable and payable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage accounting systems and ensure proper integration with operational workflows.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with standards.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Enhance accounting cycles, streamline processes, and strengthen internal controls.
• Develop and maintain an approval matrix to ensure proper authorization of transactions.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
• 7 –10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local regulations.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
