We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounting Officer to join our team in Taguig, Philippines. As an Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice preparation and payment processing
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording of financial transactions
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Accounting or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis techniques
• Experience with general ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS) and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
• Understanding of local tax laws and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
