Accounting Manager

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations by overseeing accounting processes, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic business objectives. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, improving efficiencies, and providing financial insight that helps drive informed decision-making across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger management
• Manage treasury functions, payroll processing (for leadership review), and monthly/quarterly tax filings
• Support financial reporting, including preparation and review of financial statements
• Assist with compliance audits and ensure adherence to internal and external standards
• Maintain and manage customer data within accounting systems, including billing and new customer setup
• Partner with leadership to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support business objectives
• Travel to the Central Kentucky office to support accounting functions

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership of work
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (CRM) is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
