Accounting Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Accountant to join our high-performing Finance team. This role is ideal for a proactive accounting professional ready to take ownership of complex financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and technical accounting operations within a dynamic and growing organization.

As a key contributor, you will lead month-end and year-end close processes, GAAP/IFRS compliance, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, internal controls, audit coordination, and multi-entity consolidations. You will partner cross-functionally with leadership and external stakeholders to support strategic financial planning, risk management, and process optimization.

• Lead and oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulatory requirements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including consolidated financial statements
• Develop, monitor, and control annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and KPI reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure full tax compliance (VAT, income tax, withholding taxes) and supervise statutory filings
• Oversee submissions to regulatory authorities (MyData, EFKA, ERGANI, Statistical Authorities, etc.)
• Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, and working capital optimization
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets management
• Strengthen and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and risk management frameworks
• Coordinate and lead external audits, tax audits, and internal audits
• Support corporate governance matters in collaboration with Legal and senior leadership
• Drive process improvements, ERP optimization, and financial system enhancements
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team

Requirements:
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; MSc degree will be considered as a plus.
• 12+ years of combined Accounting & Finance professional experience.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Experience with ERP systems such as Pylon (Epsilon Net).
• ACCA, ACA, CFA certification will be considered a plus.
• Fluency in English & Greek (oral and written).
