Position: ACCOUNTING & INVENTORY ASSISTANT
Salary range: up to Php 63,000 Philippine Peso (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday following New Zealand business time
Work set-up: 100% Remote work (Independent Contractor Agreement)
Holidays: New Zealand Public Holidays
Recruitment process: possible multiple client interviews and assessment
OVERVIEW
An established independent supplier of automotive parts, supporting workshops across New Zealand. The business operates in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment where efficient inventory management and accurate financial processes are critical to maintaining service levels and customer satisfaction.
A reliable Virtual Assistant / Bookkeeper is needed to support daily financial and administrative operations. This role is hands-on and process-driven, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, consistent, and comfortable working within structured systems.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Processing
• Manage incoming invoices via email
• Accurately record, organise, and maintain supplier invoices
Payments Management
• Process supplier payments and track outgoing transactions
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all payments
Bank Reconciliation
• Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
Inventory System Support
• Assist with inventory system updates and data entry
• Support basic stock tracking processes
Systems & Tools
• Inventory management system (training provided)
• Email and standard accounting tools
Requirements:
Candidate Requirements
• Experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration, or virtual assistant roles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with systems and learning new tools
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Reliable and able to work independently

• Background in automotive, parts, or inventory-based businesses
