The Accounting/Bookkeeper Assistant will be responsible for performing routine clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, scan documents, filing, and other bookkeeping duties, as needed.
Key Components:
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
Excellent customer service and effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to multi-task
Proficient in accounting software programs including Quickbooks
Strong Excel skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Office products
Responsibilities:
Document bookkeeping procedures
Research further information for incomplete documents
Scan order-related documents into systems or databases
Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
Check completed work for accuracy
Comply with data integrity and security policies
Qualifications:
Accounting college degree or at least 1 year of college
Familiarity with basic Accounting principles
Aptitude for working with numbers
Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Office
Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
