We have an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Associate in our Wilkes-Barre, PA location.
Summary:
Responsibilities/Principal Duties:
Logging invoices to their designated po's in specific wo's
Compile components of service calls to generate and forward customer invoices in a timely manner
Contacting vendors for reqauired data
Saving documents in correct places
Document completeness verification
Sorting and distributing incoming mail
Vendor relation functions
Special accounting project as needed
Working on the UST report, contacting for needed documents, monitor WO aging
Answering the phone
Contacting customers when needed for specific documents
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:
High School degree or equivalency required
General Ledger/Bookkeeping experience preferred
Comfortable using Word, Excel, Email and the Internet
Good interpersonal and analytical skills
Plan and organize work effectively in a fast paces environment
Ability to make mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
Ability to exercise independent judgement, use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracy.
