Purpose:
Provide operational support within the accounting and finance team. Hands-on, transactional, and is pivotal to the effective operations of the company's finance function
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Process sales and purchase invoices.
• Provide support with payment runs and banking transactions.
• Expense management and processing.
• Assist with reconciliations e.g. Bank, fixed assets.
• Shared finance mailbox maintenance.
• Timely and accurate updates to management reporting.
• Support with ad hoc projects within the group.
• Support in group audits.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Provide support with period-end closing processes for local GAAP and IFRS.
• Liaise with external service providers, auditors, and tax advisors.

• High volume of data involved; must be organised with strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a multitasking environment
• Aptitude for process improvement and automation.
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably within a multinational company/ multi-currency environment.
• Start-up experience or exposure to a multi-currency environment is advantageous.
• Exposure to accounting and external reporting standards, especially HGB and IFRS.
• Experience with Workday ERP or other ERP systems is helpful, but not essential.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), German a plus
