Job Description

Balances and remits premiums to carriers, royalties to associations, surplus lines taxes and fees to sub-producers as specified in agreements. Reviews carrier changes to ensure premium collection and reporting procedures are in place. Prepares monthly journal entries and premium transfers to record invoiced and/or collected premiums. Prepares, analyzes, and issues assigned status reports.

Experience and Skills: Four year accounting degree or equivalent experience required. Two years insurance experience preferred. Understanding of brokerage and compensation agreements.
