Accountant (PRAO226)

PRIORITY Quality Consultants is seeking an experienced Accountant. The role will support the financial operations within a dynamic team and is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to enhance their accounting skills in a thriving consulting environment.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role will include:

• Accurate and timely recording of all daily accounting transactions and invoice entries in the ERP system.
• Assistance in monitoring and verifying incoming and outgoing invoices through the myDATA portal to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Assistance in the preparation and submission of VAT returns, withholding taxes, and other statutory tax obligations.
• Verification, allocation, posting, and reconciliation of accounts payable, bank transactions, and other accounting entries.
• Assistance in cross-checking monthly payroll reports to ensure the accuracy of calculations.
• Maintenance of a well-organized digital filing system for corporate records and supporting documentation.
• Assistance in the preparation of financial reports and general ledger entries.
• Processing invoices and managing accounts payable activities.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, with strong emphasis on Excel.
• Very good knowledge of Greek GAAP.
• Knowledge of myDATA
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
• Willingness to learn and pursue continuous professional development.
• Military obligations fulfilled (for male applicants).
