Who We Need

We’re looking for proven accountants and accounting leaders who want to work at the intersection of customers, product, and accounting. You’ve spent years in accounting roles and deeply understand how close processes, systems, and reporting actually work in fast-moving companies. You’re energized by ambiguity and enjoy shaping solutions rather than following playbooks. You can partner directly with customers, translate real-world accounting needs into practical outcomes, and earn trust quickly through clarity and judgment. You’re excited to represent the voice of accounting & finance inside a product-led, high-growth company.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with customers to support and improve core accounting workflows, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Configure, implement, or optimize ERP systems and accounting processes to help finance teams move faster and operate with confidence.

• Get into the weeds on complex accounting challenges, diagnose root causes, and drive practical, high-quality solutions.

• Partner with executive stakeholders and senior finance leaders to translate accounting detail into clear outcomes and decisions.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to represent real customer needs and inform how Rillet evolves.

• Support various departments, possibly including: Deployment, Customer Success, Partnerships, Solutions Consulting, or Product. (Depending on open roles, and your skillset!)

Who We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience working in accounting roles with exposure to month-end close and core accounting processes.

• Familiarity with modern ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar), including implementing, operating, or improving them.

• Strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to get into the weeds to solve real, practical problems.

• Comfort working directly with customers and internal stakeholders, including senior finance leaders and executives.

• A tech-forward mindset, curiosity about how software and automation can improve finance workflows, and the ability to learn quickly in ambiguous environments.

• Strongly Preferred: Experience working at, or supporting as clients, technology companies, especially start-ups.

• Strongly Preferred: CPA or degree in accounting.
