Role Overview
• Manage multiple business clients’ accounting operations and month-end close.
• Apply strong analytical skills to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly close for assigned clients: general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
• Act as primary accounting contact, resolve inquiries, support accounts payable and receivable.
• Oversee AP and AR processes for accuracy, aging, and cash flow visibility.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Prepare documentation for audits, tax filings, and due diligence; coordinate with external advisors.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years progressive accounting experience in multi-client environment, preferably at a U.S.-based accounting firm.
• Technical Skills: QuickBooks Online/cloud-based accounting systems, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement prep, AP/AR, payroll interfaces, vendor management.
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, excellent communication, client service orientation, proactive, detail-oriented, multitasking, high integrity, accuracy, reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA certification or in progress.
• Experience with high-growth or startup environments.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting tools, KPI dashboards, cash flow models.
• Exposure to financial due diligence for M&A, capital raising, fractional CFO services.
• Prior experience at a U.S. accounting firm.
Language Requirement:
• English proficiency: Advanced B2+ / C1 (9.0 – 10.0).
