Accountant- Manufacturing Industry

I’m partnering with a booming manufacturing company in Sugar Land, TX that’s looking to add an Accountant to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and collaborating across departments in a fast-paced environment.

💰 Compensation & Perks:

• $70K–$82K base salary

📊 What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations

• Assist with month-end, year-end close, and the annual audit

• Support A/P and A/R as needed, including invoicing

• Partner with Purchasing, Service, and Sales teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy

• Research and respond to vendor and customer inquiries

• Review employee credit card expenses and manage travel spend

• Reconcile WIP and inventory subledgers and investigate variances

• Support annual physical inventory counts

• Maintain documentation for audits and ensure GAAP compliance

• Assist with ERP improvements and identify process efficiencies

✅ What they’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration

• 3–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience preferred)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Experience with ERP systems (Syteline a plus) and strong Excel skills
