Accountant - Landscaping & Contracting Industry

Apt Resources is actively looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to become an integral part of a dynamic team in Dubai. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a wide array of financial transactions, meticulously maintaining accurate and comprehensive financial records, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on business performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain the general ledger and reconcile financial discrepancies.
• Collaborate with different departments to improve financial processes and reporting.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of construction and landscaping accounting or related industry experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is an advantage.
