Accountant

Parallel Employment is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client in Lake Geneva!

The ideal Accountant candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial operations of the company. This Accountant role offers a hybrid working environment with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation (Work Location: In person, some work from home permitted once established in the role). Key responsibilities include reconciliation of accounts, and supporting the Director of Finance.

Salary Range: $50-65K/yr

Shift: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday (Hours can be flexible).

Requirements:
• Daily delivery of customer orders within ERP and processing/distribution of customer invoices
• Maintain billing and accounts receivable and work to improve cash flow
• Perform general ledger work
• Perform month-end journal entries
• Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Help grow internal use of ERP system
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist with month-end reporting
• Assist with yearly budgeting
• Assist with miscellaneous projects such as audit and tax prep

Qualifications:

• Minimum Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1 – 5 years of accounting experience; recent college graduates are also welcome to apply
• Proficient in Excel and Word; Power BI experience a plus
• IFS experience a plus
