Accountant in the Connected Tax Complience department

Job Description & Summary

Responsibilities: 

As a member of the PwC accounting and tax compliance team, you will be engaged in day-to-day accounting and tax support of our clients (multinational companies). 

Your primary responsibilities will be: 

• Performing daily accounting operations, including booking bank statements, acts of acceptance, delivery notes, and VAT invoices (outgoing and incoming), as well as revenue/expenses recognition. 

• Maintaining primary documents, which involves requesting necessary documentation from suppliers, sorting, and preparing various documents for accounting purposes. 

• Recording and managing fixed assets in the accounting system. 

• Communicating with clients (both written and oral);  

• Preparation of various statistical reports . 

• Providing support to Senior colleagues in the preparation of VAT, Corporate Profit Tax (CPT) reports, financial statements in accordance with local GAAP/IFRS standards.  

• Participating in month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing processes. 

Requirements: 

• University degree in Economic, Tax, Audit and Accounting sphere. 

• Work experience as an accountant about 1 year. 

• Good command of spoken and written Ukrainian and at least intermediate level of English. 

• IT literacy (MS Word, Excel), good knowledge of Excel is a plus. 

• Time management skills. 

• Ability to work in a team, flexibility. 

• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
