We are looking for an Accountant to join our EMEA Accounting team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting and reporting for multiple entities across EMEA and the Danish HQ, working closely with colleagues in a dynamic, international setting.

The opportunity: 

As an Accountant you will be part of a strong global Accounting team. We provide a collaborative work environment where you are empowered to take ownership of your daily tasks. Your main responsibility will be to support and deliver end-to-end accounting for the EMEA Entities, support the EMEA Accounting Manager with monthly closings, reporting, and compliance. 

The primary tasks:  

Monthly and yearly closing support for the EMEA and HQ entities 

Assisting as back-up for other countries on Accounts payable processes 

Book, clear, and reconcile intercompany transactions and intercompany accounts 

Prepare and post journal entries and ensure accurate financial records  

Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements  

Support statutory reporting and local tax filings (VAT/GST/CIT) 

Support financial audits, including preparation of audit material and coordination with auditors  

Qualifications: 

We seek a team member that can identify with the description below: 

Relevant education ( e.g., accounting. Finance, administration). 

1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an international company or from audit  

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

Advanced excel skills  

Some prior knowledge of Power Bi is a plus 

Fluent in English (both oral and written)
