Strategic Gears is looking for Accountant to join the team in Egypt.

Role Overview :
• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end processes, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities :
• Assist with data entry and recording financial transactions.
• Help prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Conduct research on accounting issues and provide analytical support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Graduate with a degree in accounting from a reputable university.
• 2-3 years of experience in general accounting background (not limited to AP, AR, or GL).
• Candidates must have prior exposure to finance operations (e.g., handling expense claims, communications with customers, and coordinating with banks).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
