Account Services Apprentice - Flint Group

Are you a recent graduate or someone looking to re-enter the workforce with a keen interest in marketing? We are seeking motivated individuals for our Account Services Apprentice program. This one-year apprenticeship with Flint Group offers hands-on experience and skill development in account management and project management within the marketing industry.

Program Purpose

Our apprentice program is designed to provide you with practical experience in managing client and internal projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with our client services teams and have the opportunity to explore various disciplines within our agency. This program aims to pave the way for potential long-term career opportunities in marketing.

What You’ll Do

Month 1: Orientation and High-Level Training

Get introduced to our mission, values, and culture

Learn account management and project management fundamentals

Learn the basics of our tools and software

Meet and build relationships with key stakeholders and departments

Shadow various teams to understand different roles and responsibilities

Months 2 – 12: Rotations Through Client Services Teams

Deep dive into team workflows, projects, and client bases

Gain hands-on experience with project strategy, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure

Collaborate on project strategy, deliverables and timelines

Develop project management skills and grasp billing procedures and budget management

Participate in client meetings, provide project status updates, take notes and send meeting recaps

Co-manage clients and handle internal communication between account management and project management teams

Continuous Learning and Development

Engage in workshops, seminars and online resources to supplement on-the-job training

Attend regular check-ins and feedback sessions to track progress and identify areas for growth

Network with industry professionals and program alumni

Own specific internal projects throughout the apprenticeship

Prepare for potential full-time roles within the agency or seek job placement assistance for external opportunities

Who You Are

Strong interest in full-service marketing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Proactive and eager to learn

Pay, Term & Location of Work

Hourly pay rate: $20.00

Term: This is a one-year, full-time, benefit eligible position. A minimum of 20 hours per week is required.

Location of work: This position is in-office, based out of our Fargo, ND office
