The Role: We seek a meticulous Outsourced Billing Specialist / Legal Assistant to manage revenue operations and support legal workflow. This dual-focus role requires high financial accuracy and assisting with legal document preparation under Senior Paralegal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Revenue Operations: Prepare pricing proposals (flat/phased fees), manage client onboarding, handle invoicing.
• Trust Accounting: Manage trust/operating account allocations; ensure compliance with law firm accounting rules.
• Financial Support: Perform light bookkeeping, billing reconciliations, financial reporting using QuickBooks.
• Legal Support: Assist drafting legal documents, managing matter milestones, filing documents with government agencies (Secretary of State, etc.).
• Data Management: Maintain organized digital files; update firm systems with precision.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in billing or bookkeeping (law firm experience a plus).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of trust accounting principles and financial data management.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), QuickBooks, legal practice management software.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solver, comfortable client communication.
• Commitment: Ability to follow structured workflows and maintain strict confidentiality.
