Job Summary
The Account Optimization Manager plays a key role in strengthening partnerships with hotel suppliers and maximizing their revenue performance. Working closely with the Area Manager and Account Manager, this role focuses on strategic inventory management, data‑driven insights, and tactical opportunities to drive commercial growth. You will build trusted relationships, guide partners on tools and digital capabilities, and ensure strong market competitiveness across your portfolio.
The Account Optimization Manager ensures partners maximize their revenue, profitability, and market presence by leveraging data insights, strategic inventory management, and collaborative planning. This role serves as a trusted advisor to partners, connecting business objectives with actionable strategies that drive growth, enhance relationships, and support overall commercial targets.
Job Responsibilities
Partnership Building
Build rapport and establish knowledge‑based trust with hotel partners.
Present tailored value‑driven proposals that support partner needs.
Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Ensure partners understand available tools, marketing packages, and processes to optimize their performance.
Portfolio & Performance Management
Monitor KPIs and performance for each hotel and cluster.
Identify opportunities through market trend, demand, and competitor analysis.
Link commercial conditions to business impact and conversion improvements.
Participate in regular business reviews to recommend strategic actions.
Contracting Quality & Tactical Optimization
Evaluate portfolio potential and tailor proposals using data‑driven insights.
Pinpoint contracting quality improvements to boost conversion.
Identify tactical opportunities aligned with partner strategies.
Drive strategic inventory management to maintain competitiveness.
Negotiate partner participation in regional and global campaigns.
Optimize product distribution and market visibility.
Collaboration
Partner closely with the Account Manager toward shared commercial goals.
Collaborate with Direct Channel Specialists and other internal teams.
Exchange best practices across Account Optimization Managers.
Work cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, enablement, and commercial units.
Digital & Self‑Serve Enablement
Train partners on digital campaigns, insights, and portal capabilities.
Promote self‑serve adoption to increase partner autonomy and efficiency.
Support partners in mapping tools and processes to their operational needs.
Tools & Process Adoption
Drive adoption of tools and processes aligned with area and company objectives.
Participate in testing and feedback for new tools and workflows.
Support standardization efforts to reinforce regional consistency and efficiency.
Required Skillset and Experience
Strong market analysis and competitive intelligence skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
Solid commercial acumen and negotiation experience.
Business development mindset with strong planning capabilities.
Data‑driven decision‑making and performance optimization.
Excellent teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration.
Agility, resilience, and adaptability in a fast‑changing environment.
Previous experience in commercial roles with direct customer interaction.
Previous negotiation experience.
Excellent communication skills in English.
