Key Responsibilities

Strategic Search Engine Marketing

• Hands-on campaign management across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads

• Forecasting and strategic planning of PPC activity to hit campaign objectives.

• Leading weekly reporting and insights into campaign performance and optimization.

• Contribute to developing new products and ways of working that improve PPC results.

• Develop an understanding of the various digital media channels (Display, Social) and the role of Paid Search as a part of the full funnel marketing strategy

• Help to educate the clients on strategies and tactics; engage clients in digital communications by demonstrating their direct response and creative and brand-building abilities.

• Keep up to date with and lead the testing of new SEM products, including advanced features and beta trials for Google Ads and SA360, and the development of AI tools

Leadership & Management

• Maintain a day-to-day client relationship

• Lead campaign/ project development and execution

• Provide consistent and practical support to Associate Account Director/ Account Director/ Performance Planning Director

• Prepare and lead performance review presentations.

• Lead development of regular results analysis & reporting, recommendations and presentations.

• Lead meetings and discussions and ensure accurate contact reports are issued within 24 hours.

Excellence in Client Service

• Work to understand your client’s pressures and internal demands to ensure Kinesso provides the correct response at the right time and in the proper manner.

• Build an understanding of the client’s business and digital marketing objectives, and develop strategies to help meet those objectives.

• Effectively set and manage client expectations.

• Understand individual client needs (on specific projects and beyond), so you can help them be successful in their roles and with their bosses; ensure clients have the necessary information and materials they need to do their jobs well.

• Provide counsel to clients’ marketing issues and opportunities, engaging the Account Directors as appropriate.

People Management

• Line-manage a team of junior staff (Executive, Senior Executive)

• Actively nurture the goal of making Kinesso an enjoyable place for staff to work and for clients to engage with.

• Develop the skills and knowledge of the junior team through mentoring, supervision and providing feedback on performance.

• Lead team status calls to manage workflow across a large junior team

• Delegate the appropriate tasks and the appropriate amount of functions to ensure an acceptable workload.

• Keep Account Director informed of junior team development and performance.

• Identify opportunities for junior team to take ownership of tasks or projects to develop and grow.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Needs to have search marketing experience, responsible for planning and managing campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing)

• Experience managing campaigns and bid strategies with Google Search Ads 360

• Extensive knowledge and experience running Shopping and Pmax activities

• Experience working with 3rd party partners such as Feed Management or CSS partners

• Experience managing large budgets and delivering solid results across multiple markets and product types for a large retail brand

• Experience managing PPC campaigns across multi-account MCCs

• Be a trusted, knowledgeable source of information and developments in search marketing

• Communicate effectively at all levels, both up and down

• Strong client-facing skills: understanding client needs, maintaining relationships, building partnerships

• Strong commercial skills

• Able to work in a high-pressure environment and resolve client issues

• Analytical, yet operate strategically, with an understanding of the ‘big picture.’

• ‘Hands-on’ approach to operations: Plans, assigns and directs work, time, material, people
