We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-focused Account Manager to join the Lab Manager sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building partnerships, collaborating with teammates, solving customer challenges, and helping companies tell their stories in impactful ways.

What You’ll Do
As an Account Manager, you’ll work closely with laboratory suppliers, marketers, and industry leaders to develop strategic advertising and marketing programs that help them achieve their goals. You’ll manage an established territory while also identifying opportunities to grow new business and expand customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
Develop strategic advertising programs across digital, print, lead generation, webinars, events, and custom content solutions
Partner with customers to understand their marketing goals and recommend creative solutions that deliver value
Drive territory growth through a combination of account management, prospecting, and relationship development
Collaborate closely with sales, editorial, marketing, and creative teams to develop customized customer programs
Conduct virtual meetings, presentations, and occasional in-person client visits
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities
Maintain accurate pipeline activity and customer communication within CRM tools
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture focused on shared success
Stay informed on industry trends, customer priorities, and emerging marketing opportunities within the scientific community

Qualifications
A passionate interest in doing media sales
A strong curiosity to learn from experienced media salespeople
Either knowledge about scientific laboratories or the willingness to learn
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Proficiency in presenting via Zoom or equivalent meeting software
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, positive, goal-oriented, analytical, detailed, and organized
Travel
Travel to the US is required for client meetings and industry trade shows
Typical travel expectation is approximately 8–10 trips annually, generally 3–4 days in length
Passport not required upon application but may be needed for future travel opportunities
