Taager is the first B2B startup focused on social sellers- Merchants. We are democratizing the social e-commerce space by enabling budding as well as seasoned entrepreneurs to sell online with no required capital, inventory, or operational experience. We have our Merchants covered from merchandising, warehousing, shipping, cash collection and customer service.

In 2019 we started as a team of 8 people, now we are over 350 employees across Egypt, KSA and the UAE. We serve more than 34K social e-commerce sellers from incredibly diverse backgrounds – from students earning a part-time income to highly ambitious digital marketing experts looking to become solo entrepreneurs. The sellers on our platform benefit from access to 2,500+ highly marketable products. About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with our merchants, acting as their primary point of contact and driving their success on the Taager platform. You will play a key role in developing performance plans, optimizing product assortment, and leveraging data insights to maximize their sales and profitability.

 

What will you do:

Build and manage strong relationships with assigned merchants, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.

Collaborate with merchants to develop and implement customized performance plans that align with our internal commercial strategy.

Design and manage incentive programs and promotions to drive merchant adoption, engagement, and maximize return on investment (ROI).

Partner with the commercial team to optimize product assortment based on merchants' sales capabilities and ensure fulfillment of sales run rates.

Identify and share best practices with merchants to improve their performance and overall success on the Taager platform.

Advocate for merchants internally, working cross-functionally to ensure alignment and achieve both sales and operational targets.

Leverage data analytics to generate insights and recommendations for enhancing merchant performance and platform optimization.

What will make you successful:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, or Economics or any related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in account management, preferably within the e-commerce industry.

Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrate proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) best practices.

Fluency in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Skills:

Experience working within the e-commerce industry (a plus).

A strong bias for action and a results-oriented mindset.
