About the role & the team:

Are you a client-focused, results-oriented account management professional with a track record of strengthening client relationships while driving business growth and achieving sales targets within the APAC region? In this role, you’ll join a team of experienced specialists in payments, risk, and fraud technology, working on the front lines of customer engagement and solution design. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, drive clarity in ambiguous technical spaces, and want your work to directly impact customer outcomes and strategic direction, this role is built for you.

This role can be based in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore, operating in a hybrid model with periodic travel for cross-team alignment.

What you’ll do:

• Own and manage a portfolio of existing customers, driving retention, renewals, and revenue expansion.

• Lead all commercial discussions, including renewals, upsells, cross-sells, pricing conversations, and contract negotiations.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders across Fraud, Risk, Compliance, Payments, Product, and Operations teams.

• Develop account plans with clear retention milestones, expansion opportunities, success metrics, and proactively identify risks.

• Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Fraud Consulting, Technical Services, to ensure seamless customer experience and value realization.

• Stay up to date on digital fraud, risk, and AML trends, using domain knowledge to advise customers and strengthen executive relationships.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success (commercial ownership), or a similar customer-facing role within SaaS, fintech, payments, or fraud prevention.

• Proven track record of renewals, retention, and revenue expansion across APAC customer portfolios.

• Demonstrated experience managing Chinese-headquartered companies and navigating China/HK-led global decision-making structures.

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) — mandatory.

• Solid understanding of fraud prevention, risk management, or payments ecosystems is a strong plus.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior and executive-level customers.

• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-growing startup environment.

• Strong collaboration skills, working effectively across GTM, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Ability to travel across the region as required (up to 30%).
