Account Executive-PR

Inizio Evoke Comms is a global, award-winning health communications agency that partners with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, consumer, and non-profit clients. We deliver insights-driven public relations campaigns, policy programs, and initiatives that advance health and wellbeing around the world.

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team. You will support client engagements by developing and executing existing and new client programs. This is an opportunity to support client and new business development efforts across a range of healthcare clients, using your communications training and experience to improve health and make a difference.

This is a hybrid role that will report into a Vice President.

You Will:

Client Partnership

• Build client relationships through communication and regular interaction

• Demonstrate an understanding of client goals and overall strategy; showcase ability to marry communications/PR tactics up to client's broader strategy

• Participate in client meetings/calls and leads client updates associated with projects owned

• Play a major part in drafting client communication materials, such as emails, project proposals, newsletters, research and results reports, press releases/materials, video scripts, social media content, etc.

• Manage all aspects of project timelines, budgets and deliverables and independently oversee assigned project workstreams

• Develop budgets and scopes of work, managing financials on a monthly basis and flagging relevant updates to internal finance team and clients when needed

Business Development and Operations

• Support preparation for new business opportunities, including assistance with research analysis, presentation development, RFP responses, etc.

• Utilize data to support agency recommendations and to guide idea generation

Communication

• Lead aspects of client interactions to further develop client communication skills

• Possess superb internal and external communication skills (verbal, written, listening)

Teamwork & Leadership

• Display an ongoing willingness to gain knowledge

• Demonstrate initiative and work through issues collaboratively or independently

• Be a role model for junior team members

• Be a role model for company values and inspires an inclusive culture

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or health / science related field or equivalent experience

• 1+ years' communications experience or related agency

• Experience in health communication required

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• A passion for improving lives through innovations in health

• An understanding of current issues in domestic and global health

• Social and traditional media experience

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.
Compensation
$60,000—$75,000 USD
