THE ROLE
As the Navy Account Executive (NCR/NE Navy), you will modernize the way the U.S. Navy manages and secures its most mission-critical data by delivering our radically simple, all-flash storage solutions. You’ll serve as the strategic lead for new customer acquisition and expansion, partnering with technical experts and channel leaders to displace legacy architecture with the data center of the future. This is a high-impact pursuit role where your success is measured by your ability to evangelize Pure’s value proposition and build long-term, high-satisfaction partnerships across the Navy’s complex ecosystem.
Location: Washington DC/DMV
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Drive Strategic Territory Growth: Build and execute comprehensive account plans to hunt for new logos and expand existing footprints, ensuring the Navy can leverage Pure’s total value proposition to meet evolving data demands.
• Navigate Complex Acquisitions: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle—from identifying customer pain points to navigating RFI/RFP processes and contract negotiations—to ensure quarterly and annual revenue targets are met or exceeded.
• Orchestrate Cross-Functional Wins: Align internal technical resources, product managers, and external Federal System Integrator (FSI) partners to design and deliver customized data solutions that solve persistent operational challenges.
• Champion Customer Success: Foster deep, trust-based relationships from the data center to the boardroom, maintaining Pure’s industry-leading customer satisfaction ratings through authentic engagement and a "Challenger Mindset."
WHAT YOU BRING
• Federal Sales Mastery: Expert-level understanding of the Navy procurement landscape, including established relationships within the branch and a proven ability to navigate the complexities of Federal System Integrators and contract vehicles.
• Strategic Pursuit Skills: A "hunter" mentality with a background in opening doors at new accounts, positioning disruptive technology against legacy incumbents, and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to achieve high-volume revenue goals.
• Technical Articulation & Influence: The ability to translate complex storage and security concepts into compelling business outcomes for both technical leads and executive-level decision-makers.
• Collaborative Leadership: Experience leading unified pursuit teams and leveraging CRM tools to provide accurate forecasting and territory management while maintaining a relentless focus on post-sales customer success.
