Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive (5-9 years) with a strong background in Digital Ad Sales, Martech, or Adtech. In this role, you will be the owner for a portfolio of key digital accounts. You will drive revenue growth by consulting clients on how Nielsen’s data can solve their complex advertising measurement challenges. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders (CMOs, Media Heads) at top-tier digital companies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management:
• Own the Number: Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for Nielsen’s Digital solution suite.
• Prospecting: Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts (upselling/cross-selling) while shortlisting and vetting new opportunities in the Advertising & Marketing space.
• Sales Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process—from prospecting and capability presentations to contract negotiation and closing.
2. Consultative Selling & Strategy:
• Solution-First Approach: Move beyond "product pitching." Diagnose client pain points (e.g., reach duplication, cross-media attribution) and map them to Nielsen solutions.
• Strategic Planning: Develop joint business plans (JBPs) with key clients to align Nielsen’s roadmap with their long-term growth goals.
3. Client Relationship Management:
• Build deep relationships with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders at Digital Publishers, OTT Platforms, and Agencies.
Experience:
• 2 to 6 years of proven experience in B2B Sales within the Digital domain.
• Must have a background in Digital Ad Sales (Publisher/Network side) OR SaaS Sales (Martech/Adtech/Measurement).
• Experience dealing with Media Agencies (WPP, Publicis, etc.) and large Digital Publishers is highly preferred.
Skills:
• Consultative Seller: You can explain complex technical concepts (APIs, SDKs, Impressions, GRPs) to non-technical stakeholders.
• Data Fluency: You are comfortable working with numbers. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM), Google Suite, and an understanding of the digital ad ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs).
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• MBA or Post-Graduation in Marketing/Management is a plus.
