Location: Flexible, hybrid and/or remote. Ideally based within a commutable distance to one of our key US hubs; Philadelphia, New York or Toronto/Ontario.

About the role

We’re looking for an Account Director to join our Client Services team in the US on a 6‑month contract, bringing your expertise in medical communications and strategic account leadership to some of our key client partnerships . In this role, you’ll provide support across high‑profile accounts, building strong relationships and driving value for clients and their brands (Oncology). You’ll work with a talented, multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding work that meets budget, timelines, and client expectations, while spotting opportunities for growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with multiple clients on a range of medical affairs and publications projects, ensuring strategic alignment, flawless execution, and real-world impact.


What you'll do:
• Build and maintain trusted client partnerships, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
• Provide strategic and commercial insight to add value across accounts and deliverables.
• Lead and motivate account teams, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
• Drive financial performance, ensuring KPIs are achieved.


About you :
• Strong client services experience achieved within a medical communications or healthcare advertising agency.
• Experience working on medical affairs and publications deliverables is essential.
• Skilled in client relationship management and strategic planning.
• A natural leader who inspires teams and creates a positive, inclusive environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering results.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
